A BIRTHDAY CARD IDEA

Do you struggle with finding birthday appropriate cards for your Sunday School Class? I have been buying boxes of Christian cards for children at a bookstore, but often I like only half of what is in the variety box, and then wonder if the kids really like them. While pondering what to do, the words from a workshop speaker came to mind – “Giving water to the thirsty in Children’s Ministry is like handing out cups of  ” .  This led me to purchasing packs of Kool-aid and putting a label on the back side with this acrostic:

Keeping you close                                                                                                              

On this day of glee

Our Father in heaven

Loves you & me

Always in His heart

Including this day

Delighting with you
